Wow, Köln was so cool! Everything there was so amazing. Except for parking. I'd almost rather lose a limb than find parking there (or most anywhere touristy in DE).
Our first stop was the Haribo Outlet in Bonn.
Wow, I don't even like gummies very much but this store was Amazballs. The amount if different gummies is incredible. My favorite design was the 'A... Mit Ohren' which is exactly what you might think it is. Pretty much a butt with ears.
My next favorite part was the amount of bulk candy. Just grab a bag a start filling it with the candies you like:) Mine was completely full of these amazing licorice things. I don't really know what they are called. Perhaps a short description of these another day. They had small about 8", medium 24", and large I think 48" long. Ai yai yai!!!
We all got our own bag o' candy and I also picked up some old school juice glasses.
We then headed to Cologne. After we learned that our room wasn't ready yet we decided to tour the Cathedral or "Dom".
I wish I had a picture that would do justice to its enormity!

It was so awesome touring the city and eating at The Hard Rock Cafe woot woot! We toured the Lindt Chocolate factory/museum. Which was pretty cool but wasn't like Willy Wonka's at all....

They had small factory lines and small chocolate samples. Also the option to wait 90 minutes for a custom made chocolate bar (which we did NOT do). But, we did make our way to the gift shop and I was not disappointed :P
Later on we took the Seilbahn over the Rhine River (and a nude pool!) to a most excellent park.
Phatasia Land....OH MY GOSH! We LOVED it! It was very clean and beautifully designed with cute and colorful buildings. They had great rides, most of which both the kids could ride including the world's tallest long flume!
Some of the best rides were the double decker merry-go-round, a cooking-mouse themed ride with sweet smells, and a wacky walk through house with obstacles such as moving stairs and such.

We seriously loved Phantsia Land.
We'll go again I'm sure, but we've got a few more theme parks to visit first!
